Voluntary Short Term Disability
Disability Insurance replaces a percentage of your income during extended periods of illness or injury that prevent you from performing your regular work.
Short Term Disability coverage is provided through Guardian. This benefit is available to employees that are unable to work for at least 7 consecutive days. Payments accrue from the 8th day and are paid out weekly to a maximum of 13 weeks. The plan provides a maximum weekly benefit amount of $1,000. Disability criteria and eligibility for benefit payment is determined by Guardian.
