New Parent, Gender Affirming Healthcare and Family Care Leave

After 1 year of employment, full-time employees will be provided up to 12 weeks of paid New Parent, Gender Affirming Healthcare and Family Care leave per 24 months for the birth of a child to the employee or to the employee’s spouse or domestic partner; legal adoption of a child; placement of a foster child in the employee’s care; interventions as defined by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health Standards for Care: or to care for the employee’s domestic partner, spouse, child or parent (not in-law) with a serious health condition.

Paid New Parent, Gender Affirming Healthcare & Family Care Leave will run concurrent to FMLA leave or New York State Paid Family Leave.
